Puppy and Dog Training

Vera is a qualified animal behaviourist and has trained 40 National Champions and multiple international champions in obedience, working trials and tracking. She regularly attends local and international courses in Schutzhund, Tellington Touch, Obedience, Behaviour and Kennel management. She is the President and Professional trainer at the Doberman and all Breeds Club in Marks Park and regularly gives motivational and training seminars across the country.

Bracken Puppy Headstart Programme - Alberton

The Bracken Puppy Headstart Programme uses motivational clicker training and positive reinforcement to teach your puppy what behaviour you are looking for. Your puppy learns that following certain command will earn them a reward. The training focusses on basic obedience, such as sit, down,come, walking on a lead, settle on a mat and recalls. We also teach dog and human socialisation.

The Bracken Puppy Headstart Programme has classes every Saturday at 2pm and 3pm at our Brackendowns North facility. Booking is essential.

Greenside Vet - Emmerentia

We offer puppy classes every Thursday at 6pm and 7pm and Greenside Vet in Emmerentia.

These classes also teach basic obedience and socialisation and booking is essential
